House Of Glass is a one stop shop for all your smoking needs. We exclusively sell American-Made glass, which includes a wide selection from local artists. We are “Purveyors of fine smoking accoutrements”. Local Glassblowers Represented: BBro Boro, B Team Glass, Big Ben, B. Schroeder, GBL Studios, Griff’s Glass, Gutz Glass, IO Glass, PKG, N. Dark Glass, RaGu, Rusty, Sasquatch and Squirrel Glass, Studio V Glass. House Of Glass offers the largest selection in central Iowa of smoking accessories, with over 1750 ft² of retail space. Some of the products we carry include: functional glass art, hookahs, shisha tobacco, lighters & torches, vaporizers, water pipes, wood pipes, stone pipes, metal pipes, glass pipes, butane, bubblers, concentrate rigs, custom pieces, concentrate pens, high end glass, rolling papers, cigarette holders, cigarette rollers, electronic cigarettes, E-Juices, etc. Our customer service is hard to match. Whether you need assistance finding a replacement part for a hookah or simply have questions about a particular product, the HoG crew can help you. We DO NOT SELL: “Rose Pipes”, scales, detox, synthetic urine, herbal incense, Salvia, ANY synthetic or alternative blends, bath salts, or imported glass.

History

Established in 2012.

House Of Glass (formerly Glass Houses) was re-established in April of 2012 as the only exclusively, American made, functional glass art shop in Des Moines, IA. House Of Glass features an ever growing selection of Iowa glass artists hailing from all corners of the state; currently, local artists represent around half of our inventory. Now moving into it’s 6th year of business, House Of Glass has continued to stay relevant by supporting local artists, leading local trends, remaining current with industry trail blazers & products, while having the best selection of both production pieces and heady glass art in Iowa. Rachel is a Des Moines local who graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School and Drake University. She has been working in the functional glass industry for almost 10 years and has been blowing glass on and off, for about 5 years. Rachel loves music, NPR, the ARL, supporting local businesses, Sunlit Fields and social/political/global consciousness.
