The founders of Daydreams were close personal friends – Kathy & Elaine’s friendship started at Iowa State University & lasted for 39 years before Kathy’s untimely death in December of 2016. Along the way, Kathy’s store inspired Elaine to open one of her own in Arlington, Texas in 2010 that she operated until early 2016 when she took an early semi-retirement.  When Kathy passed, she came out of retirement fully to take over where her friend left off.  When Elaine’s not busy with the store, she enjoys going to music festivals to hula hoop & dance, ride the Harley with husband, Kevin, golfing & world travel.
