Headed West is proud to be a part of the Colorado community that we have been serving for over 25 years. Time has allowed our industry to evolve and trends have changed but our commitment to offering an amazing selection of high-quality products and excellent customer service has not. We remain committed to our roots of being a full-service smoke shop and lifestyle store that offers something for everyone. From obscure to the mainstream we try to keep it stocked so you can enjoy the lifestyle you choose. Even more importantly, we take the responsibility of understanding our products to heart and pride ourselves in being able to help customers learn about them. After all, sharing is caring. Our staff is also something special – seriously! The energy that our team brings to work is truly awesome. History
Established in 1996.
Why the name “Headed West”? The founder, Big Mike, grew up in and graduated college in Missouri. Once he completed school he borrowed money from his grandparents to buy inventory for his smoke shop and “Headed West” to Colorado. The original Headed West store opened off of Colfax in Denver. After 5 years the decision was made to move the store to Englewood and we opened up off of Broadway and Hampden. In 2006 we seized opportunity to move to a stand alone building with our own parking lot at our current location at 4811 S. Broadway in Englewood. Look for the Alice in Wonderland mural and that is how you know you have arrived at Headed West! Be sure to ask our staff about the history of our commissioned graffiti art – let’s just say we fought the city of Englewood and with the help of the ACLU we won!

Jen is a proud Colorado native born and raised in Boulder. At the end of 2010, after a rewarding career in hospitality sales & management Jen took over Headed West as Business Owner & President. Her passion, energy and determination combined help to drive Headed West to always be our best.
